RESTORING GOVERNMENT TO ITS CONSTITUTIONAL BOUNDARIES

 I believe that our “unalienable rights” come from our Creator, and that government’s job is to protect those rights, not to infringe on them. We must:

• Repeal Obamacare

• Audit the Federal Reserve Bank

• Crack down on corporate welfare

• No federal funding for advocacy groups - on the Left or the Right

JOBS AND THE ECONOMY

I will promote jobs through growth to unleash the creativity of American entrepreneurs:

• Cut spending to 2008 levels

• Eliminate stimulus spending

• Stop the job-killing EPA and NLRB

• Develop domestic energy

• Real oversight of Fannie & Freddie

• Innovative solutions such as monobeam monorail to the Rockville Pike gridlock caused by BRAC, not a multi-billion dollar Purple Line boondoggle.

• Reward federal employees for innovation and fiscal accountability

SECURING OUR FREEDOMS AT HOME

Defending our nation’s security starts with securing our borders and securing our vote. If elected, I will work to:

• Complete the border fence with Mexico

• Require REAL ID to prevent voter fraud

• Support local sheriffs who enforce existing immigration laws

• Defeat the DREAM Act (in-state tuition for illegal aliens), which is an insult to legal immigrants and to the taxpayers.

• Strengthen and enforce e-Verify to identify illegals

 I support American Laws for American Courts and zero tolerance for Shariah law

DEFEATING THREATS ABROAD

We face new threats from a rising China and a nuclear-armed Iran. Chris Van Hollen has been a major ally of the pro-Tehran lobby in Washington, while seeking to constrain U.S. ally Israel from legitimate self-defense. If elected, I will:

• Defend Israel as a Jewish state with Jerusalem as its capital  

• Support the pro-freedom movement inside Iran, our best hope of averting war.

• Restore funding for major programs such as the F-35, missile defense, and naval shipbuilding

• Ensure that our wounded warriors receive the medical care and training they deserve to re-enter the work force in dignity.

• Guarantee that our nuclear deterrent remains robust and modern, and that our military continues to be the best-trained, best-equipped and most respected – both at home and abroad.

We can take our nation back, even here in Maryland. We still are the Free State and let’s not forget it.
