Major General, US Army (Retired)
Commander, 82nd Airborne Division (2002-2004)
Maj. Gen. Chuck Swannack has a storied career, having served our nation for thirty plus years in command and staff positions at every level of the U.S. army before his last combat command as commander of the 82nd airborne in Iraq. General Swannack has been on the frontlines in the war on terror for the past twenty years, and knows the dangers facing America first hand. He also understands what a commander must do to protect his troops, as this short video shows.
Today, in his new command duties in civilian life as a business executive, Maj. Gen. Swannack continues to serve his nation and his band of brothers as a board member of the Military Family LifeStyle Charitable Foundation, a non-profit that raises money to help active-duty military, veterans and their families. Read more about the Foundation here. A full biography of Maj. Gen. Swannack is here.
I am proud and honored to be endorsed by Chuck Swannack and, if elected, will work with him to ensure that we support our military families and our ensure that our fighting men and women have the best equipment, best training, and best support our nation can provide.
