With today’s arrest of a suspected suicide bomber at the nation’s capital, it’s time for the federal government to immediately strengthen the protection of Jewish synagogues, schools and other institutions in Montgomery County and the surrounding region.

I believe the feds need to share threat intelligence with local law enforcement and Montgomery County has to step up police patrols and take other preventive measures, just as New York City is doing for its residents.
 
The time to act is now, before it’s too late.
 
I know the Iranian regime very well. They are dangerous and when they threaten openly to start a new wave of terrorism, as they are now doing, we have to be ready to stop them.
